Even though my rping has been completely made of fail lately I wanted to give this a shot.

PB you use most: In terms of most logs / scenes or whatever, it'd have to be Kristen Bell for sure, because of TNC/Nexus. And I also played a slightly modified version of her in CXI for a very short time, which was weird and not something I'd do again with any of my characters.
PB you ruined for others: No one I hope, at least not in a bad way. You guys can let me know if I have. XD
PB someone else ruined for you (in a good way): So many of these! Off the top of my head, Allison Mack = Ruby, Alexis Bledel = Grace, JT = Cal, etc. It makes watching movies / tv shows that much more fun, hehe. :D
PB someone else ruined for you (in a bad way): None really. It wouldn't be the PBs that are ruined, just the characters / the people playing them, but that's rarely happened to me.

List 5 PBs that are now permanently associated with a character:
1. Justin Timberlake - Cal/Mimic. Seriously, this answer should just be copied and pasted by everyone who does the meme. XD
2. Jake Gyllenhall - Dan/Bezerker. Emma totally cornered the market on him, hehe.
3. Elisha Cuthbert - Tabby/Meltdown. Likewise Nat's made this a permanent link in my head. Which makes watching The Girl Next Door even more fun. :D
4. Allison Mack - Ruby/Clarion. It's what really got me into watching Smallville in the first place.
5. Amanda Bynes - Sharon/Catseye. Sorry, I just can't see her as anyone else after that great performance, hehe.

1. Alright, I fail here and can't really think of any specific ones. I'll just have to go with ones that obviously aren't age appropriate, ones that don't match the character's ethnicity, overused/trendy PBs from whatever show/movie is hot at the moment, etc. And yes, I probably have been guilty of any and all of those things at some point, but I try not to be! XD

Name a few trends you notice among your PB choices: I've been playing a lot more female characters lately for some reason, which of course = more female PBs hehe. I don't think there are any trends really, though I do have a lot of blonde characters. Hmmm.
Name a PB you would like to use but just haven't: I had a few earmarked to be used that I did get to use ever so briefly in games that died quickly, i.e. Kirsten Storms, Maggie Grace, but there aren't any that I'm dying to use at the moment. I've been watching a ton of Freaks and Geeks lately and omg Linda Cardellini is so awesome, I wouldn't mind using her as a PB but the show's almost 10 years old, she was 23 then and is 32 now. Which makes me feel better about finding her so cute in the show since she wasn't like 15 or 16 then, haha, but yeah.

I never realized how often I check this thing until I wasn't actually able to do so. I was pleasantly surprised to see the site's maintainer updating the progress of the situation on Twitter, it was nice not to be kept in the dark about this kind of thing for a change.

Now that it's back up, I can get all excited over

generation_x again and read other people's profiles / comm info once more, huzzah! Perhaps I can fix my user info too, I keep putting that off. Hmmm.

RANDOM FACT ABOUT YOU: I signed up with the Columbia House DVD Club for the 12987389 time in January but have yet to fill out the little free selection cards they sent out about 3 months ago, oops. Maybe I should do that today.
WHAT'S THE LAST THING THAT MADE YOU SMILE?: R.J. Umberger scoring against Washington in the Flyers/Capitals game I have on now. I have him in my pool, woo!
CLOWNS -- CUTE OR SCARY?: I wouldn't go as far as saying cute but I certainly don't find them scary.
BIGGEST PET PEEVE: I really, really hate listening to people eat, especially my family apparently. It's not noticeable at all when with friends at a restaurant or when people are talking, but most family meals are usually quiet on the conversation front and it just drives me nuts. And my sister often bites down on her fork and slides it out and it sounds like a sword being unsheathed and gah. Family. XD
FAVOURITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR: Anything with chocolate in it really. Heavenly Hash as of late, though Haagen Daaz has this cool one with brownies and fudge in it, I forget what it's called. Brownie Fudge? XD

Well, I finally got around to adding profile pics / actual profiles for

amazingamazon and

jungleking, and transfered my profile here / all my little userinfo pics for said profile to Photobucket which I should've done when GJ Pix died aaaaages ago. I still need to review my log stats and add more for the IJ side of things, and I need to change the journal links since the whole <lj user=...> parts default to IJ now and all the old ones are on GJ, but that can wait until tomorrow.

I've done a few logs in the last week or so but really haven't rp'd all that much since the shift over to IJ. I've mainly been playing LOTRO and absorbing the entire Battlestar Galactica series in a very short time, which is such an awesome show omg. Almost makes me wish there was a BSG rpg hehe. I do hope to get more active again soon though, since I really do like the characters that I have, I just haven't been around. We'll see how that goes I suppose.

So, how's everybody doing? :D

I finally added some icons to this journal after having just the one here since I created it. It makes it feel a bit more welcoming I think, though I still need to work on the userinfo page, even if that's just c&p'ing my old GJ one for now, we'll see.

I've done a little bit of rping since moving here, not much though, and I dropped one of my two games, so I'm just down to the one now hehe. I guess only time will tell if this is just another slump or if my rp days are winding down. Things have been slow in general what with the GJ crisis and the holidays and all, so we shall see.

So, I had a crazy idea in my mind to do a whole ton of fics for people for Christmas, based on pairings of our characters, but I failed massively. All I got done was the following, the first which I still don't really like and took forever to do, ugh. Anyway, I wanted to post them just to get them out there and to stop staring at them and reminding me that I didn't get it all done like I wanted or something. So here they are! I made a journal at InsaneJournal while all the calamity and commotion was going on here, with the same username as this one. I don't see myself ever actually using it unless GJ dies completely but I did add some people when they made posts like this so feel free to add me too just in case.

Other than that, no news on the rp front. Still not able to really write anything that I want to which sucks, but hopefully that will change soon enough.

Wow, so, things seem to have gone even further downhill here. That's pretty surprising, especially the whole icons going down to 10 thing, wow. I mean, I honestly didn't care all that much when they went from 2,000 to 100 because I think I only had one with more than 100 (3 guesses who that was and the first two don't count haha XD), but yeah, having 10 is just too much. Well, too little really, but you know what I mean.

I'm just glad that I backed up all my stuff the other night, though I didn't do any back up for my current games / characters, I should do that when I get back home on Monday, hmm. Come to think of it, there's a lot of things I have memoried on this journal that I'd like to save, fics and stats pages and stuff like that. Ugh, what a headache all of this is, and from reading

announcements it sounds like the en masse migration to other sites is causing them to go haywire too, haha. Yup, things were definitely easier back in the IRC days hehe.

Anyway, I don't have any inclination to make another journal anywhere else just yet, and apparently they're down anyway hehe, but I still have my LJ with this same username for those of you that have one there but don't have me added there, for what it's worth.

So, you know when people say they don't know whether they're coming or going? I always thought that was just an expression until the last few weeks, hehe. Work has been unbelievably horrible since we lost half of our support staff and this is always the craziest time of the year, which will get crazier undoubtedly, ugh. Darn people wanting money to pay bills and needing access to their kids for the holidays, pfft.

I've also been having troubles with my PC, and while I still have my laptop I honestly don't like using it for long periods of time. Seriously, I don't know how people can use them so much, maybe it's just me being too big or awkward when I'm hunched over it, haha, but still. Anyway! I bought a new hard drive over the weekend and installed it last night after much cussing and frustration, but it appeared to hold its own once I cloned the old one and am now using the new 320 GB SATA II drive, woo (albeit in SATA I mode since my mobo can't support II, oh well). Hopefully this means more consistency and stability in being online and I can actually try to get stuff done, because I've just been completely failing since the beginning of this month.

I'm also completely behind in everything and anything rp related, which sucks. I'm hoping tonight I'll finally get a chance to catch up on things, barring any unforeseen technical difficulties. I also have a ton of icons to make that I snagged pictures for but couldn't do once the PC crashed, so here's hoping that gets done too.

All that being said, if anyone would like to help me compile a to-do list to keep me on the ball it'd be greatly appreciated! :)

[eta] I went home at lunch time and the computer was locked up again, only this time when I restarted it absolutely nothing would happen at all. x.x I'm giving up and taking it somewhere to get it looked at I think, bah.

This has not been a good week at all, and it's only Tuesday yet. We lost one of our office assistants last week, which was known in advance and everything but we still hadn't replaced her yet when my own personal assistant quit unexpectedly on Sunday. Yesterday was no picnic at all, trying to run an office that was already shorthanded that was basically hamstrung, and my own workload is just about doubled now since I have to do everything myself until we get someone else, ugh.

So, yes, needless to say things have been busy. I was having a hard time getting into NaNo as it was so I'm completely waving the white flag on that one now. All I really want to do is just sleep or play games / watch tv, anything mindless where I don't have to think at all since work is draining all of my thinkin' time, heh.

Anyway, enough rl woe. I wanted to post here and see if people were interested in doing a Christmas fic exchange setup this year. I mentioned it to people last year but that was kinda last minute, and if we can get enough people and ideas now there should (hopefully) be a lot more time and it'll actually work, hehe. If anyone's interested or have any ideas about a theme, how it should work, etc. let me know and maybe we can get something going this year. :)

Ugh, lately it feels like I can't get anything done, which sucks. I don't know if it's just recovering from having over a week off and having trouble getting back into the swing of things but I hope it stops soon. It's probably been going on longer than that because as I was looking over the last little flurry of memes on here I realized I still haven't answered the last one I asked people to do, go me. -.-;; And I haven't done anything on the rp front in ages, and I still can't come up with an idea for NaNo, and yeah, boourns.

All that being said, I'm trying to go back and answer those, and since I've already answered this a bunch of times I'm posting this other meme here. It's optional though, don't feel forced to answer it because I know that bugs me personally. XD
